Inaccurate Reenactments
INACCURATE REENACTMENTS is a historically hilarious show that is unique to Telluride. Developed through our initial partnership with the Telluride Historical Museum, its chronicles the weird and wild history and longstanding Telluride culture. From whores to miners, skiers to ranchers, drunks to ghosts… some of the best stories from Telluride’s history that you don’t know, staging them as reenactments. Sasha and I wrote the intial show over three weeks after picking the best stories we could find, after pawing through six different history books on Telluride. This show saw the origin of Dude & Bro, the ski bums that later got their own show. It has also become the first in a series of original history plays. Ethan wrote some original music that ended with the line “Telluride….It’s not just whiskey and whores!” Nuff said.
